WHAT TO EXPECT 
Season Begins - Thursday, August 1 

 The season begins with cheering at games for our DeLand football players. Some games do require local travel. We can travel anywhere from Flagler to Palm Bay. Home Games are played at Sperling Sports Complex. 

As September approaches, we begin to prepare for competition. Our focus is shifted on tumbling, stunting and dance.
The East Coast Conference Cheer Competition is on Sunday, October 20, 2024 in Daytona Beach. ALL teams (including JTM) will attend this competition. 
If teams place in the top 2 at Conference then they will compete at Regionals which is held Thanksgiving weekend in Orlando. 
If teams place in the top 2 at Regionals they will compete at Nationals which is held the first week of December in Orlando. 

PRACTICE INFO 
Practices begin August 1st with teams practicing 10 hours a week (5 DAYS PER WEEK).

After Labor Day, practices will decrease to 3 DAYS PER WEEK. 
(day of the week depends on team - schedule will be created closer to the start of the season)

JTM - Our Junior Tiny Mites are only allowed to practice a total of 2 hours per week. Day/Time will be discussed with parents. 

PRACTICE ATTIRE
 Athletic attire - shorts, leggings, biker shorts, t-shirt 
Cheer shoes 
Hair must be in a ponytail 
Water jug (water bottle is not enough)
PROHIBITED
NO spaghetti string tops, mid-drifts or denim shorts/jeans
JEWELRY OF ANY KIND - RINGS, EARRINGS, NECKLACES ETC. 
NO flips Flops

GAMES
Game schedules do not come out until after the start of the season. All games are played on Saturdays. With out youngest teams starting in the morning and our oldest teams ending the day.
